The first thing you can do (for mild “bacne”) is to keep your back clean and somehow bacteria free. You can use Cetaphil for this instead of bath soap. Let it dry.
A 10 percent benzoyl peroxide can be applied right after to the problem areas. After doing so let it sit and dry. Some dermatologists would advise to use benzoyl peroxide together with Alpha Hydrox Enhanced Lotion to get maximized results. This is optional though. Keeping your back clean and bacteria free is your priority. It will not only control the outbreak but also prevent severe recurrence.
